I just installed a new GPU: RADEON R7 360 into my PC.
I checked and downloaded new drivers.

Since installing this new gpu my PC tells me that my display driver has stopped responding and recovered. And that [application] has been blocked from accessing graphics....

I have a Core 2 duo CPU E8400/3ghz
8gb of Ram
Windows 10 64 bit

I was running on a NVIDIA 9600 GT

I have ordered a quad core duo 9550 2.6 ghz processor, but it hasn't arrived, yet.

Any ideas?

Solution
if it keeps doing it..try running a gpu memory tester to see if the card has bad memory..if not return the gpu and try another brand some time is can be a bug bewtween the mb and gpu brand.
on an old pc as yours can be two issues. one a bios bug on old mb. check to see if you have the newest bios file for the mb. the other issue and is going to probably be right...you have an old and undersized power supply and it cant take the load of the new gpu. you may want to put in a evga 600w power supply or a seasonic 550w unit to be safe.

I've tried every suggestion, and nothing has worked.
I re-installed my 9600 GT, and everything is working fine.
I'm considering getting the GTX 750tI, and seeing NVIDIA, does indeed, do a better job of "compatibility."
