Alright so my computer is very, very mid end and I'm going to be upgrading my gpu soon. I'm going from a 6750 HD 1 gb to a vapor-x 7770, and the 7770 requires a pci-e 3.0 x16, I only have 2.0 x16 though. I know the 7770 should work fine in it, but will I suffer any performance drops etc?

My specs:

HD 6750 1 gb
I7-2600 3.4 ghz
8 gb of ram
500w power supply

Thanks a lot, was just curious if everything will go smoothly. Also do I need to remove my drivers when putting in the 7770? Since it uses the exact same set as the 6750, thanks again.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm not expecting a big jump in performance or anything. I just wanted to know if it'd be an issue :) The card is going to be a gift so I figured why not? Will I even see a slight performance increase? Thanks again.

Not sure why I can't select a best answer here, any admin wanna help out?

Ahh I tried to turn it into a question thread and it said that the thread wasn't changed >< so if someone could change that for me and give Huilun the best answer, I'd appreciate it!
