New GPU Radeon RX 580 Installed with black screen

Just installed the radeon rx 580 this afternoon and all I get is a black screen. I properly uninstalled the old driver from my previous card. From what it looks like my motherboard should support this card (X79-UD3). I have no other machines to try it in. Any insight?

Please indicate the specifications of your PC as well as the previous GPU.

Did you replace the GPU with the RX 580 and once it was done it worked but when you removed the old drivers it stopped working?

The RX 580 needs two power cables from the PSU. Have you connected both?
