I recently replaced my gtx 670 with a 1070ti. Updated mobo bios. updated display drivers. Worked great for over a week. Now I get random restarts. Temps seem to be staying under 60C on new card and system was very stable with good temps before the upgrade.

Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.

Randomly restarts. Sometimes hangs on post. Thinking its mobo related as the sound and LAN portions have failed already and been replaced with pci cards.

List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.

Reseated GPU. I ran windows memory diagnostic with no errors reported. I ran furmark and it restart after 4 minutes, then I ran again and its stable for half hour so far.

Any troubleshooting steps I can try would be greatly appreciated.

I was having this similar issue a few days ago and a similar thread here. I replaced my stock cpu fan with hyper evo 212 and it fixed the random restart up until when i purposely overloaded with a bunch of videos running at one time and my pc finally suddenly rebooted again. i assumed it’s now my psu is causing the overload reboot. but before was a weak cpu fan.
