Just upgraded my Gainward Phantom GTX 970 to a Gigabyte G1 GTX 1070 and i am getting the same fps as before. around 110 - 170 in CS:GO and 40-60 in PUBG.

also my GPU is sitting around 50% usage or lower, and cpu around 70-100%.

Deleted old drivers, Downloaded new drivers etc.

PLS HELP!

Specs:

GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX 1070

PSU: Corsair CS650M

MOBO: ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING motherboard

SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO CPU: Intel core i7 6700

Thats a cpu bottleneck. Cs go can run at it highest settings at 1080p at over 200fps on quite weak gpu's. PUBG is an unoptimized mess of a game so no wonder there.

You might have been bottlenecked by CPU, so changing GPU was just a waste of cash. 970 probably was -> 80% load wher 1070 is 50%, but cpu stops you from gaining more FPS, also check ram usage, if you have 8GB going up to 12 or 16 might also help.

Run a solid benchmark for us please and post it.
