New GPU, same or worse performance?

I feel like there is an obvious solution to this, but I just upgraded from a GTX 650 Ti to a 1050 Ti. My problem is that I am seeing the same performance as my last card, sometimes even worse. The new card seems rather inconsistent. When I am running Minecraft or CS:GO, the frames range from 60-170 at times. I didn't uninstall my old drivers from the 650 Ti until after I had rigged up the new card. I use GeForce Experience which seems to detect which card I have, and installed the ones for the 1050 Ti after I rigged it up. Just to be sure I uninstalled any drivers again and installed the new ones from the disc. I suspect the problem is probably that my processor is bottlenecking my GPU or something of the like. I might need to upgrade the CPU if that is the case. If you guys have any insights into this or anything else, let me know.

Cheers, MaliciousBanana
