[SOLVED] New GPU turns monitor off and on for short period

Hi there champs!

Just today I have changed the GPU to a Zotac 1080 that I bought from eBay. I am having a small issue when my monitor just turns off and on for short while, it happens in random moments when I am browsing the internet or playing games approx. every 10-15 mins. Is it possible that card is faulty?

I don't really know where to start looking for solution. I did make sure the card is sitting in correctly and power supply pins are in. Next I have removed the drivers with DDU and did a clean installation. I was thinking it might be the cable but it was working fine before on my 1060. Power supply I got is Fractal 600W. Any one had similar problem in the past?

Yes, especially since:

So, you bought an used GPU without any warranty what-so-ever. Right?

If DDU + new drivers doesn't work, there isn't much else you can do. Other than attempting to return the GPU and get your money back.
Note: Ebay seller has no obligation to accept returns/money back.

You could try another PCI-E x16 slot, if your MoBo has it but that's about it.
