my current system spec are as follows
i7 8700 non k
asus z370 f gaming mobo
16gb 3000mhz ram
msi gtx 1080ti
1080p 144hz monitor

i am upgrading my monitor and gpu
for monitor i have decided to get LG 27GN950 4K
but i am confused which gpu to get
my choices are 3080 , 6800 xt or 6900xt
which gpu should i get for 4k gaming?
i only use my pc for gaming and watching yt videos and some movies

i am also thinking of upgrading to intel 11th gen when it releases next year
please help

If you care about ray tracing then you will go for 3080. If not, buy whatever you can afford from those three. All are excellent for 4k.

What is the make and model of your PSU?

Keep in mind that 11th gen is not compatible with your motherboard so you will have to upgrade that too.

now i have a cooler master 750 80+ gold
i am upgrading that to 1000 as well now

with 11th gen i wil be upgrading whole system excluding the gpu and monitor

now with 3080 and 6800 xt benchmarks the 3080 is better at 4k and 6800 xt better at 1440p but 6900 xt will beat them both
my only concern is if a am getinga 11th gen intel will a amd gpu pair properly with it or should i go with nvidia for the intel pairing?
or that wouldnt make much difference at 4k

You were asking about 4k. All of them are great. As I said, if you care about ray tracing then you will go for 3080.

You can't compare a 3080 or a 6800XT with a 6900XT moneywise, as they have a significant difference in price. That's why I said buy whatever you can afford.

Yes 11th gen will pair properly. The only difference is that with AMD CPUs you will also have an extra small "edge" with SAM. You can always upgrade to a AMD CPU next (5000 series or newer if available by then) and you will also have that advantage.
