[SOLVED] New GPU, wait or buy now ?

I was planning on waiting until prices drop before getting a new GPU for a new build I'm planning but I found an RTX 3070 for $654 and an RTX 3070 Ti for $699 so now I'm wondering should I spring for a new card now? What do you think?

Standard answer: if you need something now, get something now. If you can wait, then wait.

Of note though, video cards rarely drop below MSRP even when they're replaced with a new generation. Storefronts may have a flash sale to clear stock, but that's about it.
