New Graphic Card 150-160 euros

Hi guys.This summer I bought a new pc.

Intel Core 2 quad Q800 2,66 Ghz
Msi P45D3 neo-3 FI mainboard
4 GB DDR3 Ram

and a Geforce 9600 GT 512 mb.

Back then, I had not the money to buy a better graphic card and I bought the Gt as a short term solution.
Now I have the money(well I think the sum is enough for a good graphic card) but I don't know which one to buy.

I thought about the Radeon HD 4890 1 GB but I'm not so sure.Is it much better than the HD 4870?
Or maybe to buy a new Nvidia?

My monitor is a samsung Syncmaster 2043 NW, with a 1680x1050 native resolution.

Oh, and I have a 400 Wt power supply.Do I need a new ps if i buy a new graphic card?

You will want a new PSU. Anything in the neighborhood of the HD 4870 and up will warrant at least a 600 watt PSU with good rails just to be safe. Going with the bare minimum is like running your car engine at top RPM's all the time.

The HD 4890 will serve your resolution very, very well. If you can find one, try to get an HD 4850 X2. They are hard to find, cost not much more than the HD 4890 but are an absolute beast for games.
