USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming: Mostly MMO’s (Rift at the moment), single player RPGs such as Dragon Age2, Witcher 2. I would like to be able to play Arkham, Skyrim, SWtor& Diablo 3 when they come out if possible.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY The original ATI HD3650 video card that came in my system blew a year ago and was replaced with a Nvidia GTX 9800 that is still running.

I had to replace the power supply this week, put in a Coolermaster Extreme Power Plus 500w. The power supply was always the weakest link in this box, now that its not, I want the best video card I can put in it, but I am not sure at what point I am start paying for performance I cant use because the CPU becomes the bottleneck in the system. So I have come for the sage advice of the regulars here.

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:
HP Pavillion Elite m9426f.
Asus Benicia IPIBL-LB Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad (2.4 Ghz)
Windows Vista 64bit
RAM 8G

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Amazon or Newegg
PARTS PREFERENCES: Prefer Nvidia

OVERCLOCKING: NO SLI OR CROSSFIRE NO

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I have tons of room in the box for any length video card, the slot is not blocked the entire length of the box. Width might be an issue however so no dual cards.

No, but the framework for the DVD blocks behind the second slot so it only a normal short card would fit there. I would also like to save that slot for a wireless card later for when this system is replaced and moves to another room.

i would suggets a card but i need the length of the slot you can have . you need to measure butt ill through some out there hers some
