New Graphic card gives BSOD

so i bought a Components
Gigabyte R7 250 GDDR5-1GB DVI-D/D-SUB/HDMI OC
and i installed it. it was running fine for awhile then i got colored lines across the screen then it went to this bsod http://imgur.com/XypCaNK

I would re-seat the graphics card and reload the drivers. I would re-seat the RAM while you are at it.

i tried that all except re-eating the ram but i think it might be my power supply?
it says that 400w is required, i have that but im pretty sure i have a different power cable than what came with it.
