I just received a $100 from my grandparents last week and my pc is laggy so bad when i played Shogun2,so i want to spend it on graphic cards
I don't play really high graphics(just medium-low)
my system is

Acer Aspire x1700
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2220 @ 2.40GHz 2.40GHz
4.00GB ram
64-bit operating system

if that's not enough maybe this Game Booster report will help

No. Jessester has no idea what he's talking about. Chances are, you don't really have a high quality PSU if you bought it as a prebuilt. A decent gaming computer can be made for about $300. Not expensive at all.

Get a new system. 220w won't support pretty much anything, and the 775 socket series which includes those Pentiums,is outdated and overpriced. Save up for a new system. Shogun is a pretty CPU intensive game though. For christmas, ask for money, and BUILD a new computer. When you get the money, PM me and I'll help you make your build. PS, making a computer isn't hard a 13 year old could do it.

220w is bare minimum without a discrete GPU. The GPU you picked out has a 400w recommended PSU rating. 220w won't support ANY worthwhile discrete graphics.

A 400w min PSU rating from AMD, yes - but (as you should know) they overestimate drastically. OP's CPU draws 65w max, and the HD 5570/6570 draws 60W max. This system with my suggested card will never draw over 175w.

how much do you think building up a new one will cost? It will take me some time because I have to save up for a car.

My 250w watt PSU is barely able to support a GT240 (rated for minimum of 350w) and a core 2. I get random crashes sometimes. 220w won't support any decent discrete GPU.
