New Graphics card $400-500 Range

Hello All,

I'm currently looking to buy a gpu for my new gaming rig and i need some help choosing a graphics card. I'm looking for a card within the 400-500 range, preferably closer to 400. I'm not really sure what i want after doing some research as there are currently many great graphics cards out there. For the most part i've been looking at some sapphire radeon hd 7950 and 70s and some evga geforce gtx 680s but i don't care if you suggest a different card, any opinion is welcome. Could you guys help me out and help me choose the best gpu for my pc?

A hd 7970, its power is similar to gtx 680, sometimes even faster and it cost only 360$
Which doesnt mean that this model from xfx is bad.
