Hi,

I am trying to install a GTX 1050 Ti into my computer, but I am having troubles with the display.

I had turned off my computer and simply swapped the new card with my old one, hoping it would be as simple as that, but it didn't work. The fan on the card started spinning, and everything seemed to be working, but there was no display on the monitor. I put my old card back in, and the display started working again. I went to Nvidia's website and downloaded the 1050 Ti drivers, hoping it would fix the problem. I swapped the cards again, but there still was no signal. Swapping the cards back again, I went to the device manager, located my old card, and uninstalled the drivers. After swapping cards, still no signal. Finally, I booted my BIOS and swapped the display to integrated graphics. When I did that and rebooted, I have no signal, but now nothing will ever display on screen, even using my old card. Can someone here help me with this problem? Here are my current specs just in case you need them.

Solution
Enter the bios and disable secure boot and see if it works now. You may additionally have to enable legacy mode if the first doesn't resolve it.
