Okay, a few weeks ago I ordered an asus gtx 750 ti 2gb. I also purchased a new 520 watt psu. Once I put these in my case. My PC seemed to have a little bit of a problem starting. It was in a black screen with white text like you know when you first boot up your PC? Yea. Anyways it had that disk error so I found my windows 8 disk. Smacked that in and bam! I'm finally about to fix my PC whennnn it asks for a driver to install Windows on or whatever. You know the classic Windows 8 setup. And now I'm stuck here. the list is just blank. No drivers. I could manually find it by looking in browse, but it says that it isn't up to date and I need to contact my vendor which is kinda poo cause I just bought it. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance! Oh I also forgot to mention this question: why did my PC do this? Does this always happen when upgrading? I'm sure I did everything right. ( it was my first time )

In the bios it'll say something like boot setup, boot order sequence, etc. From there it probably has your dvd drive as boot #1, then your storage device as boot #2.

Make sure it's detecting the hard drive. If it's not then that's what's wrong. Look in the computer and ensure you have the sata cable connected and that it's also connected to the motherboard. Then make sure the power cable is also there.

Probably just forgot a cable. When I first started i did that once lol.
You need to go to nvidia's website and download it from there.

I'm also assuming you need the other drivers for your motherboard?? Do you still have the disk?

Either way the easiest way. And the best way in fact is to get a usb drive and go to the motherboards manufacturers website and download the drivers from there. From another computer of course. Then use the usb on your computer to install the drivers. Also download the nvidia driver onto the usb drive.

Thank you for replying so early! So what your telling me is that I need to get a usb and download MY SPECIFIC graphics drivers to it? And my mother board drivers as well? Would it automatically install, cause I can't get into my file explorer or anything. I am literally stuck on the boot up screen unless I put in the Windows 8 set up disc. Which I can't even get to install due to some poo driver error.

Sounds like it's having a problem detecting your hard drive. Double check the cables to your hard drive. Are the SATA cables connected to the motherboard? Did you connect your power supply to your hard drive? Do you have a hard drive in the first place?

Yes I do have a hard drive, and I'm pretty sure that my cables are connected right... I'll check again once I get home. The thing is that I'm not sure wether getting a new hard drive is worth it. Cause I'm not sure that's the answer to the problem. I will if I have to. I will provide pictures once I get home.

Okay so when I start up my PC this happens: disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter... So after putting in my Windows 8 setup disk. It loads up the windows set up and says we cannot find any drivers. I hope this clears things up

it says we couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver click load driver.

I'm so lost ;-;
