New Graphics card for my next desktop build

I was wondering what graphics card I should get

my current Graphics card is a Radeon 7970 and i'm not sure if i want to crossfire it (with either a 7970 ghz edition or a 280x )or If i want to get a single better gpu, like a gtx 780 for example

So tell me what you think

Well the Idea is that you buy one card now (You already done that) and buy a second later. A HD 7970 isnt too much slower than a GTX 780. Personally just crossfire.

Thanks for the input, I've heard the crossfire has some problems but I also heard they fixed a lot with new drivers.

someone told me that the 7970 doesn't crossfire as well with a 280x over another 7970. Is that true?

I think you should know enough about graphics cards if you own an HD 7970 that you paid for yourself or even asked someone to buy for you.
