Hey I was just wondering with these spec's what would be the best possible upgrade of graphics card?

I mostly play Battlefield 4, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2 - I'm looking to get more games but with my GPU seeming to struggle in the games above on even medium settings I'm ready for the next upgrade.
I'm running a monitor at 1920x1080 atm which is what I've always ran it as I think this is the main reason that GPU is struggling alongside it being low end.

I'm looking to get better FPS in Guild Wars 2 I struggle to get over 50ish at the moment although I have heard the game hates AMD processors. Preferably Battlefield 4 anything above medium - high would be great - ultra = gravy for me ! 😀 I usually fiddle with graphic settings anyway.
A card that will be able to run Black Ops 3 on nice settings and smoothly would be great to, alongside Alien Isolation and I know it might be a long shot due to my processor ( i don't know how good it is so if someone could clarify that for me that would be fantastic) I'd love to run The Witcher 3 on this setup preferably medium but anything better would make my day.

My Budget is £200 roughly and I don't really want to upgrade my PSU but if I have to then so be it.
Any info would be great ! thanks 😀
I have heard many debate about Nvidia gpu's compared to AMD but I am totally open to both which ever card provides the best for the price.

Sound like your stuck between a rock and a hard place.

You can't upgrade upgrade your GPU to a 290x or 290 because your PSU doesn't meet the recommended wattage.

Any GPU you do put in will be bottlenecked by the processor. You will loose about 12 FPS compare to if you had a better processor in most games.

If you want the most painless solution, getting a Nvidia GTX 970 is really your only choice for a high end GPU as it draws little power. That or go a bit lower and get a R9 280 or 280x.

Will my CPU bottleneck this GPU at all? As I mentioned above I'm not really sure just how good this CPU is as my friend gave me it due to getting two in one package.

Also will this be able to run games like The Witcher 3 & Black Ops 3 ?

Thanks for the reply man!

I'm an avid Guild Wars 2 player and what you need is a new CPU. Guild Wars 2 is very CPU dependent, even my overclocked i5 3560k at 4.5Ghz bottlenecks my GPU.

Something like a i7 would be best, but if you don't have the money, an i5 will do.

Yeah, I don't play GW2 that heavily was just hoping for smoother frames tbh.

My main target is The Witcher 3 and Black Ops 3. 😛

Thanks for the reply I'll need a whole new mobo and processor if I go down that path though 🙁

Okay cheers, will the GTX 970 run the games I mentioned before? I will be able to get a new CPU but I'd rather spread the load so to speak. Would one of the i5's be good or just another bottleneck?

Really appreciate the help with this by the way.

The GTX 970 will be good for every game that's out and new ones that come out at resolutions of up to 1440p and ultra/high settings.

Looking at CPUs, as you don't spend that much time on GW2, an i5 is a good choice. The i5 4690k or 4690 (no overclock model) are an excellent choice at around $200, either an excellent choice. With RAM, CPU, and Motherboard the total would come to around $400 if you don't buy on a sale.

Don't forget to sell your old video card as well. That's some pretty decent cash you can get.
