New Graphics Card Inquiry

Hello there! I am currently looking to upgrade my AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series graphics card and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Definitely used for gaming purposes

Specs:
Power Supply: Corsair CX750M
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eightcore
Mobo: ASUSTeK M5A99FX PRO R2.0
OS: Windows 10

I also have a budget of about $400...

The two that I currently had in mind would be:
XFX Double Dissipation Radeon R9 290X
MSI Radeon R9 390X GAMING 8G

How well would I be able to run these? Does anyone know of any significant issues with these cards? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😀

If you must stay AMD, the 390x would be the better choice of the two, and would run just fine with your rig.
