New Graphics card making computer Choppy/Lag

I recently put in a new graphics card, Geforce GTX 1060 G1, and ever since it's start to really make everything I do on my computer choppy/laggy. I haven't had this problem with my old graphics card and was wondering if there was a simple solution?

If certain specs are needed, please let me know.
