Hello. I have bought today a MSI R9 380 2gb Gaming edition and after proper instalation I am getting the graphics card BIOS beep code ( 1 long+3 short).I have tried everything that I could possibly think of. Could you please help me figure out what is wrong? The graphics card is brand new so there is a very small chance it's faulty. Also my motherboard is brand new and it works just fine with my old graphics card.My only guess is that some setting in BIOS has to be modified but I have no idea what. All that UEFI and Legacy and RAID is just grabbing me by the nuts because I don't understand them. So before I make a complete fool of myself and RMA a good graphics card, what should I try next?

Haha, no...but it is a concept most people can understand. If I get into the nitty-gritty tech details, most people get confused..especially if they are posting here for support. So I relate it to something that most people can understand.

Another way of thinking of it is if a person is seeing (lights) and breathing (fans)...does that mean they are in 100% health?

PM me for personal debates, keep forums to topic please.

I'm sorry you were given an answer you didn't like...but that's the way it is. The card should be sent in for RMA. The BIOS (Basic Input Output System) is giving a clear code of faulty card.

When the BIOS runs POST (Pre-Operating System Test) it found a fault with your Graphics Card. It then emitted the 1-long and 3-short beeps telling you what the issue was as it could not load a GUI (Graphical User Interface)
