new graphics card problem

Hello .i just bought a pc that has an intel core2quad cpu 2.5 ghz,4 gb of ram and an nvidia quadro fx380 512 gfx card and windouws 7 ultimate 32 bit..my cousin gave me a geforce gt 210 1gb 64 bit,so i changed my old gfx card with the new one...and when i booted up the pc it kept making beeping noises and the monitor's screen was black. what the problem might be? Thanks (sorry for bad english..it's not my native language).sorry for the doublethread.

Make sure it's plugged in properly, does it work on the original card with no issues even now? It may be a bad card you got also, try it in another computer.

As an FYI, that is a very slow card if you intend to use it for games.
