New graphics card slowing PC alot?

Hi I bought a new gtx 770 and ever since I installed it my PC has been running really slow on start up, it stays on the BIOS screen for about 2 minutes then goes to windows and seems to load everything up really slow. Does anybody have any ideas what I could do to get it back to the same speed as it was before I installed my new GPU.

Well it would help to know more about your PC. What make/model PSU do you have? What GPU did you have before and did you remove the drivers completely before installing the GTX 770?
