hi Guys

i apologise if my problem is a bit long but i want to give a detailed run through of my issues.

So recently my motherboard died and I got a new one under warranty, i rebuilt my system with the specifications above (except with a gtx 660ti instead of a 770) and when i started it up, outputting through my gtx 660ti i would receive no display through my monitor, i tried hdmi and dvi and still nothing. i took my pc in to the computer store and the mobo bios was updated and still nothing. I managed to get my 660ti working occasionally by unplugging it, replugging it and then booting it up again and (after disabling onboard gpu and changing the display adapter from auto to pcie) but then it would boot through the graphics card for that one boot, i would turn it off and get a black screen again. sometimes whilst working it would black screen and restart and or just black screen. when i booted up and it didn't display, three red led lights would appear on the mobo (one after another). CPU-VGA-BOOT. It would work fine if the graphics card wasn't installed and i was running through the motherboard. i also tried running with only core components and discovered the RAM worked absolutely fine and only when the graphics card was installed would i have to struggle to get a display. so, i thought it was the graphics card and so did the guy at the computer shop so he sent my graphics card off for repair and i bought a brand new gtx 770! when i got home and installed it i got a black screen, again. so instead of using dvi i tried using hdmi, and it worked, i played games all night, all temperatures were completely in range and there was absolutely no problem. but then i turned it off and when i tried to turn it back on i get the same three red led's CPU-VGA-BOOT and i get no signal with dvi or hdmi. i tried through the motherboard and disabled onboard graphics and changed the primary display adapter to pcie in the bios and then when i saved and reset id just get a black screen and have to turn off. when i get a black screen all the fans rev loudly until i turn the system off. i doubt its the graphics card since i played on it last night as well as its brand new and the cpu is completely fine too. everything is completely plugged in fine. the problem is, any fix i get seems to be temporary, say ill reinstall the graphics card and it will work for 1 boot and then when turned off and on again it will black screen. so theres my very long problem!

stuff I've tried.

reset CMOS
updated BIOS (temporary solution worked for 1 boot only)
changed the graphics adapter to pcie and disabled onboard graphics in BIOS (tempoaray fix for 1 boot then i have to do it all over again as the bios won't save the settings I've changed.)
i also don't think its a hardware issue because when i get it working every component will work flawlessly.
Thankyou so much!

Try with another graphics card - if it still doesn't display then its probably something wrong with the mobo.
