New graphics card

Hi,

It has 4 pin fan connectors and i was just wondering if i can plug it in as a regular graphics card and forget about the 4pin fan connectors? don't have room on my motherboard and i can control fans through software.

You need a decent 450w POWER Supply with a 6+2 = 8 Pin PCIE power cable coming from the PSU going to the card.

I believe that 4 pin is there so you can connect it to your motherboard and then your system can coordinate the fans on the in your system. Connecting this is optional.

The card itself is powered by the 8 pin pci-ex connector, and that must be connected. Your power supply probably has a 6+2, connecting both gives you one 8 pin. If your power supply can't provide an 8 pin connector then you will need to buy a power supply with one or choose another card.
