Hello I want to upgrade my graphics card from a gtx 1050 ti 4gb to either a gtx 1060 6gb, gtx 1660 ti 6gb or the more expensive route a
Evga rtx 2060 6gb. I really don't know if my specs can handle a rtx 2060 my specs.
Asus H81 mc motherboard
I5 4460 processor
8gb Corsair ram
Evga 500b psu
Samsung 850 evo 500gb ssd

Solution
Personally I would not upgrade GPU , cause that i5-4460 is not powerfull for anything above 1060 6GB.
You have 8GB's of ram, running max details will cause you a game to eat all of your ram.

You can stick to the 1050 and upgrade to the new system, since I really don't know if you can find i7 of 1150 socket for cheap.
But still wait for others for answer, this is my opinion.

Solution
I won't suggest you for GPU upgrade with your CPU, as it will bottleneck anything more than 1060gb. So I will recommend you to get a better CPU and then upgrade your GPU. Also increasing the RAM to 16gigs will be the plus [point
