Hello!
I would like to know if it is worth upgrading my old Gigabyte 980 Ti xTreme gaming edition windforce 3x to the new Asus Strix (any model) 2080 Super or 2070 Super. And more importantly should I upgrade now? Or wait for the new graphics cards from 2020?
The 980 Ti struggles a bit in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Escape from Tarkov and newer games. I am playing on a 1080p monitor and will keep 1080p for at least 2-3 more years.
I got a Ryzen 9 3900x CPU with Corsair 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM and a Crosair 850W gold PSU so there should be no bottelnecks.
The OS (Windows 10 Pro) is installed on an Intel 660p M.2 SSD.
