[SOLVED] New GTX 1050ti underperforming why?

Hi before I get into any details please forgive me if I’m missing some info I’m not a computer wizard hence why I am here.if you could use anymore information about my specs please let me know and I will try my best to figure them out thanks 👍

I’ve been playing a lot of warzone and my PCs specs were the following:
16GB RAM 1333 MHz
CPU: AMD FX-8320
GPU: AMD R7 260x 2GB
PSU: 450 watts

I’ve upgraded my GPU to a GTX1050ti and still have all of my settings for MW Warzone on the lowest possible settings. But yet I still am getting 30 FPS when I’m in populated areas or I’m looking out over a town .

Does anyone know why my GPU isn’t performing properl? My friend has a very similar setup with the same GPU and he gets 50-60 FPS all the time.

Have you checked if the performance is being throttled? If the temperature goes too high, sometimes the computer will throttle performance to ensure you don't overheat.

I’ve ran MSI kombustor a couple times and it says my GPU is at 95% -99% load throughout the whole test. Could it be something to do with my CPU being older? (it’s about 5 years old)
