So I just bought a new GPU (Asus Strix GTX 750TI-OC-2GD5) and a PSU (EVGA 500W) and I didn't have any trouble replacing it with my older one (300W not certified), I just removed the old cables and placed the new ones, I didn't have any problems starting my PC with the new PSU and the OLD GPU (GT 520 2G) but then when I replaced the GPU my PC just stopped at the BIOS blue screen, I hear a beep afterwards but nothing other than that happens, I started my PC with my GT 520 to ask for your help, so please help me out guys ^^ Thanks in advance

Do you have an older motherboard? It may not recognize the newer UEFI BIOS of the GTX 750 Ti. Also check around in BIOS and see if there is an option to 'start UEFI'. Do you actually get a display with the 750 Ti? Usually when the BIOS is the problem, the card won't produce a display at all.

Specs : I3-2100 (3.1Ghz)
Motherboard : Foxconn 2ABF X16 Graphic Interface
GPU : GT 520 2gb (New : Asus Strix GTX750ti oc 2gd5)
and PSU : EVGA 500W
I'll try checking the BIOS and letting you know, do I need to update anything or maybe uninstall the old graphic card pilot?

That system should be new enough to not suffer from the UEFI/legacy BIOS issue I was referring to. But you may have to update the board's BIOS to the latest offered. I can't seem to get thru to the Foxcon site right now to find your board, but check if there is one later than you have now.

Still, I don't feel it is a bIOS issue if you are getting a display at all. It might be a defective card. Can you post a pic of the display that you get when it freezes?

Oh, it's an HP. That explains it then. Yeah, there are a ton of posters here with HPs that can't run most of the GTX 750 Ti cards. These are the only two GTX 750 Ti that seem to work out-of-the-box with HP machines. There may be others, but I haven't heard of them yet.
MSI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127783&cm_re=msi_750-_-14-127-783-_-Product It has a switch to change between UEFI and legacy BIOS.
Evga: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487024 No switch, but HP users have said it works.

So you're saying I need to change the GTX 750TI OC, wow....Is there any other solution? Like maybe updating my BIOS or w/e it's called?

You can try. No guarantees. Older HPs seems to be the worse at compatibility with the newer UEFI BIOS the newer gen cards use. If you can't get the PC to boot using the card you have now, you don't have much alternative but to try a different card.

One option would be to visit the HP forum and ask around. Many times one of the HP reps will jump in with a solution, or at worse verification of what I'm saying.

I tried the GTX 750 MSI with the switch, but nothing happened, I took it for technical maintenance and apparently they have to change the motherboard, so i'm gonna have to wait for them to check whether the GTX 750 ti works on the H61 (the new motherboard they're placing)

HP must have some proprietary code in their BIOS. All retail H61 boards seem to work with any GTX 750 Ti. I even ran a GTX 750 Ti on an old AM2+ board and an Intel 775 board with no issues. In fact, I'm on an older Dell Optiplex 790 SFF (Sandy Bridge) running a GTX 750 Ti right now.

So you're saying I'm making the right choice here? The motherboard will work on my PC and the GTX 750 Ti will work properly?

If it is a retail motherboard, no problem. If it is a proprietary design Foxconn made for HP, it's anyone's guess. Did you ask the people working on the PC to test the GTX 750 Ti in the machine and make sure it works before giving it back to you?
