New GTX 970 owner...help!

Hey everyone,

So I just bought a GTX 970 everything seems to be okay, but I've noticed after checking out the Asus gpu tweak software that I got with it-that it only showed my VRAM at 2gb, not the 4gb I was expecting, ran a dx diag and it shows 2621mb. Is this normal? guess I'm still learning a lot of basic stuff.

Open Gpu tweak, press gpu info, let it run gpu z and tell me what you can see there,,,

ah there's all my precious vram (displays 4096mb) thanks a lot seems like it's properly detected through gpu z, I also found it through the magician software from samsung that came with my 840 evo ssd.

So if gpuz shows 4gb of vram, so there you go, you wont have any problems...You are welcome mate
