New Gtx 980 With Low Memory Clock

Hello, I bought an EVGA GTX 980 about a week ago and I noticed that EVGA percision as well as GPUZ actually report the memory clock at 3505 max memory clock instead of 7010, which is where it is suppose to be. I called EVGA technical support and they said that it is most likely a reporting issue since these apps aren't reporting the multipliers, but how can I know for sure that it is indeed running 7010 like it should?

My current rig
i7 3770k @4.2ghz
MSI Z77a GD65 motherboard
EVGA GTX 980 SC
Corsair Vengeance 8gb memory
Corsair TX850w PSU

Hehe, dont worry. It is how GDDR5 memory speed is calculated. Similiar to double data rate. 3505 x2 = 7010
