I'm stumped and running out of ideas.. Just got my EVGA gtx titan in last night so I couldnt wait to install it, so I did. I started with uninstalling the catalyst amd program, then using driver sweeper to remove the rest of the amd stuff, unplugged everything and removed the 2 hd6995's.(i have 3 -24 inch moniters hooked up to this also).Next I installed the titan hooked up the power connectors pugged in all the display cables, fired it up and, I get the beep and windows sounds of it starting up,,but no displays are working...all of them have the orange standby light on, not the green light. All the fans are spinning everything sounds good, the green logo on the titan is lit up ,looks cool,but...nothing.so far I have tried. swapping around plugs to screens,hdmi,dvi,ext.--switching to the lower pci-e slot---hooking the hdmi to the onboard display,,nothing so I put one of the hd6950s back in and the same issue,,nothing... Only Idea I have left is to reset the board Bios, its a z77 asus sabertooth. Has anyone ran into a problem like this or has any ideas please help,,stressed out...THanks

From your description of your problem it looks like you have run into an electrical short that has fried the mobo?, the CPU?, or perhaps the PSU?

But before you go further, there is one thing you should check: see if the supplemantal power plug (the 8 pin plug in proximity to the CPU) has come loose. I swapped out a mobo recently in a build and while I had plugged the 8 pin plug into the mobo it had come out during the fan installation. It gave me the same symptoms that you are experiencing.

It just seems strange, like I'm missing something stupid, that im going to backhand myself for when I find it. Its just wierd to me that it will all start up just like its supposed to do, i can even hear windows start, and I can actually type in my password and hear it running like it is supposed to, im just not getting and picture/video out. Changed out lots of video cards and never had a issue. I hear the post beep, then a second later the windows start up screen. all my lights, fans everything running like there is nothing wrong... But unfortunatly im at work all day so I cant tinker with it till tonight. Hoping to get as many ideas as I can before I do some more troubleshooting tonight. I will check on the 8 pin power for sure though,,thanks.
