New hard drive running really hot?

I just bought a WD blue 1tb drive from amazon. Plugged it in and started installing battlefield 4 on it and find that it's been running at around 68-70c the whole time (according to SpeedFan and CPUID). I opened the case and touched it, and it was fairly hot. I'm not really sure how hot a 70c hard drive would feel to touch, but it wasn't hot enough to be painful, even if I just held my finger on it for a while. Also, the C:\ drive which is right next to it stays at around 38-40c. Should I be worried about this, or are the readings off or something?

Solution
What is the temperature immediately after spin-up? That should tell you whether the reading is bogus. Also be aware that some temperature attributes are reported as "100 - temperature".

Ok, that program said that the C: drive was the one that's running hot, not the new one. My mistake 😛. I'm gonna be replacing it with an ssd in about a week, so I think it can probably last until then.
