New Hard Drive Won't Boot

My current hard drive is like 5 years old, so I decided to buy a new one that had a higher capacity. The drive just came in today, so I installed it. I figure it'll be easier to diagnose the issue if I list everything I did, so here we go:

1. Connected the drive. It's a SATA BTW, same as my old one.
2. Went into disk management and formatted it.
3. Used XXClone to transfer all of my files from my old hard drive.
4. Used XXClone to make it bootable (or it was supposed to, anyway).
5. Went into the BIOS and disabled my old hard drive in the boot menu.
6. Tried booting off the new hard drive, and a black screen came up that said "insert bootable media" or something along those lines.

I'm not really sure what the problem is. I can see the drive in the BIOS and Windows, and I can see that all of the files from the old hard drive were copied correctly. In disk management the drive is just listed as being an active, primary partition. I'm assuming it should read system, boot, page file, active, primary partition like my old drive and I assumed XXClone would do this, but it didn't.

Alright, I'll format the drive again, try this program and come back with the results.

Used EaseUS, same problem as before. I'm not sure if it matters or not, but my hard drives are set to IDE and not AHCI. I'll mess with the registry to active AHCI is necessary, but I'd rather not do that.
