Ok, so here's the story...
I have a computer that works totally fine, and a HDD that I bought yesterday and intalled win 10 on another pc. For some reason when I put the hard drive into the other working computer, windows wont start up. The bios loads normally, and even recognizes the HDD. But when I boot up, after the bios, I just get a blinking white cursor, and it never loads windows.. I understand that I can reinstall windows, but I'd rather not do that yet. All the connections are seated firmly, and I even switched out the cables to make sure it isn't that. I really hope someone could shed some light on this issue, and thanks for your time!

you installed windows to the drive in one computer (a) and it will not boot in another computer (b)?

when you installed windows was there another drive in the system? if so windows may have placed needed boot files on the other drive. always install the OS with only the needed drives connected.

why didn't you install windows in the right PC in the first place? 'cause that is what you need to do now.
different systems, different drivers, different settings. install the OS in the system it will be used in

that's not how installing any operating system works.

you have to install the OS on the computer you intend to use it on which means your new drive has to be connected to the PC you intend to use

by installing windows 10 on a different computer you may have messed up the licensing for your copy of windows 10 so there is a risk you will have to purchase another copy of windows because you did not activate it on the PC you intended to use it on

First of all, i installed it on another pc because the hdd was bought for a friend of mine, and his pc is really slow so i did all the stuff at home, to speed things up. Im sure it's been installed on the right hdd by the way. Second of all, I don't really think the problem is with the different pc, ive been using around 2-3 other hards on my own pc and they all did work. Another problem is that the current pc isn't even able to recognize the flash drive with the windows, I'm getting the same blinking line, and yes i did prioritize it's boot order

" I don't really think the problem is with the different pc, ive been using around 2-3 other hards on my own pc and they all did work."

Sometimes this will work....sometimes it won't.

"Another problem is that the current pc isn't even able to recognize the flash drive with the windows,"

If it doesn't recognize it.....how did you "i did prioritize it's boot order"?

this is just the same as when someone gets a new PC and wants to use the drive from their old PC. if you move a windows install from a different PC it will either not boot at all (like in your case), boot but will have many errors, or it will run slow because of driver conflicts. in rare cases it will run fine

best bet would be to use the media creation tool to load the windows 10 install on a compatible flash drive and use the repair option during install.

This happens, when OS is installed in UEFI mode, but you try to boot it in legacy mode.
Also same thing happens with OS installed in legacy mode, but you try to boot it in UEFI (with legacy mode disabled).

Your windows installation media may be prepared for boot in UEFI, but you're trying to boot it in legacy mode.

Those settings have to be matched for booting to be possible.

Anyway - smartest thing to do - is installing windows on machine, it is going to run (not on some other pc and transferring hdd).

ok i found smth really odd, i put back the old hard and the flash drive booted correctly... , but with the new hdd only the blinking line will appear, which i don't understand, also i don't know how to switch between uefi and legacy mod on this bios, I'm really confused with it, it's a G41M-VS p1.00
