New harddrive size not recognized

Hello,
I just replaced an 80gig harddrive on a HP dv2000 laptop with a 320 gig harddrive. I loaded disk image from the 80 gig on to the new drive - everything works fine , however when I open "my computer" it still states the drive is 80gig - how do i get it to recognize the whole 320?????? thanks

You didn't say what program you used, but I am assuming that the program copied the drive image, then created a new, equally sized partition and copied the contents onto that. The rest of the space is unpartitioned. Go to Disk manager and format the 230GB or so of unpartitioned space.

Or you could just enlarge your current partition in disk management...
