New hardware but old software

I'm thinking of getting myself a new motherboard , cpu and a graphics card. I would like to know if I could still use the same software that's in my hdd

Plug and play the HDD with all the old stuff? Almost certainly not.

You will probably have to reinstall everything, starting with the OS.

Your data? As in pics/docs/vids...sure. Save it elsewhere and offline first.
