Hello everyone! So i've decided to upgrade my system from a basic 1080p gaming build to something with a little more headroom.
Already Purchased;
Mobo: GIGABYTE B550 AORUS Elite
PSU: Cooler Master Watt 650
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core
Ram: G.Skill RipJaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3600Mhz
Existing Crucial P2 M.2 Nvme
Existing Rx 580 Sapphire Pulse
I'm debating between picking up a 5700XT or waiting on a 3070(Whenever they're available) as my GPU upgrade too at least game solid in 1440p.
I dont aim for 4k resolutions but it would be nice to be able to play some of the less competitive titles in 4k comfortably. Will be adding more SSD/NVME storage soon as well.
My question for everyone is, is it worth the 200$ gap to pickup a 5700XT over the 3070 and wait for 3080 availability, or just wait for the 3070 availability and bypass the fairly insane pricing of 3080's right now?
