I didnt know where to put this question, so I put it into the category I last upgraded! I have an Acer Aspire M3985 (I know its not a top gaming rig), with 6GB Ram, Radeon HD 7750 and an Intel i5-3570k. After putting my processor in today, I expected some sort of FPS increase on most games. But I have nothing extra on anything. I know my Radeon is exactly amazing, but it still does the job of most minimum. So, i'm really stuck now. I don't know how to increase my FPS further. Like I said, upgrading from my old i3-3220 (dual) to my new quad, I really thought would make a difference. But nothing has happened?🙁 any help? Thanks!

It is because.
A
Your old cpu could more than handle the card so no over head was unlocked by upgrading to the i5
B.
Most games are gpu intensive not cpu intensive say minecraft as example that cpu upgrade would mean alot but most games your upgrade doesn't change much except now you can accept better graphics cards.
Your options are basically upgrade the graphics card or over clock the current one.
