I am looking for a good software that will manage copying data from old harddrive with XP to new one, which will not brake the bank and do a quality job. It can be shareware if it is user friend.

I really like Power Desk for this kind of stuff. It's basically a sophisticated Windows Explorer that allows you to set up to panes, e.g., the folder your copying from and in the other pane the folder your copying to. It does a load of other stuff but excellent for file management.

The cheapest way would be just use Windows Explorer and copy and paste

Out of curiosity, when you say "data" do you mean individual files (text documents, pics, vids, game saves, etc.) or do you mean the entire contents of your old hard-drive, including Windows?

You'll need more than Windows Explorer to do the latter...
