New hdd install windows 8 original.

I have dell inspiron 15 3000 series i3 processor with windows 8 pre installed, and recently my 500GB hdd was damaged so I replaced it with another hdd. So now I have managed to install a duplicate windows 7 in my new hdd which are giving a lot of problems. How do I get the original windows 8 installed in my lappy through internet?

where can I get the product key with 25 character as my original laptop did not come with a cd or anything?

It's embedded in the bios.

what is a bios? is it in the original hdd or in the motherboard?
but i changed my hdd to another one.

On the MB. Windows should see it - Install Windows with the recovery disk you get from Dell

there be a product label on the bottom of the laptop or in the battery bay. contact dell they may give you a link to downloading a iso image of your laptop. if not for a small fee you should be able to get a disk or usb stick with the factory image on it. if you just want windows 8 if you have the product code on the laptop you can download windows 8 from microsoft by using the product code to download windows 8.
