[SOLVED] New HDD makes a weird single-click noise when turning the PC off ?

Hey, I just bought a new seagate HDD(ST2000DM008) and, while it works fine, as soon as I turn my pc off it makes one weird noise:

Is that normal for a seagate HDD or should I return it?

Well, the click are probably the r/w head that is parking. I have no clue of the loudness or distance of the recording device.

I'd recommend you getting the S.M.A.R.T data from it and post it here, it gives much more info than just an audio record.

My WD my passport 5tb makes similar sound at windows shutdown.
