Hi, Guys.
I just want some info on this topic.
I bought a barely used hard drive second hand to put in my new system. I have all new parts but the HDD still has the OS from the pc it was in before (win 7) on 1st boot what would i do to get to the bios and set everything up? if possible i would like to keep this OS. How would i set the bios and be able to keep the OS?
Thanks.

Solution
The OS install on the hard drive is set up for the old machine, it wouldn't run well (or maybe not at all) in your system. You should format and reinstall.

Getting to BIOS doesn't require a hard drive, you just press DEL or whatever during POST.
