So my PC is still around 1.5 months old, yet it often freezes when playing games. At first it freezes 2-3 times a day. After several weeks it stopped freezing. Then it started to freeze several times again these last 2 weeks but not as often as before. When my PC froze, no sound is being played and the only thing I could do was forcefully shut it down by pressing and holding the power button down.

I am really confused because when it first happened, any game which I tried freezes after a random span of time (some 30-45 minutes, some 1-2 hour). The problem with Rust was somehow solved by playing the game on DIrectX 12. When I tried CS:GO it froze like twice a day, then after several week it goes smoothly without any freezing, but once last week and yesterday it froze again after playing for 1 hour and 3 hours respectively.

Currently I am playing Monster Hunter Online for 5 days already, yet it never froze no matter how long i played. Does it have something to do with Steam games? Or is one or more of my hardwares faulty?

Please help :(

(I play all the games on high settings)
