New Hp upgrade

Hi, im new so sorry if this is the wrong format I want to upgrade to be able to play bf3 on medium
My specs
Hp 1299cb (not listed on hp website wierd....)
Cpu A8 5500
Gpu using integrated
psu 300W
hard drive 1tb
ram 8gb 1600
mobo ?????? only has one pcie X 16 slot

Right now with the integrated graphics im able to play mw3 on mostly high settings with shadows and specular map off with 2XAA. Here is what i ordered getting here today

That will work. In fact, you can probably play bf3 at nearly max.

I would recommend getting a different brand psu though. Something like Antec or Corsair is good.

hmm. should do, tho i cant say for sure, no idea what your pc is. let alone whether the gpu will fit in the case.

It should.... i didnt measure but their is a lot of room inside. Plus the new psu is slightly smaller. I would have bought a better quality psu but i had 225$ for psu and card. This one has pretty good reviews. Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help. everything went smooth. Case is pretty big i guess cause id say i have room for around 2 more inches in length and 11/2 in height.

Did the HD6870 work OK with the dual graphics on your A8-5500 ? Id like to know coz Im trying to find a card that works with that A8-5500 + IGP.
