ok. IMO my CPU is running hot. although im not 0 of the exact temp, since asusprobe and the bios both give me different readings. i was thinking about getting a more decent heatsink and fan.

any suggestions for best quietness and cooling?

Thermalright SLK900 with 92mm slow rpm fan - no contest this is the hands down winner - just check your mobo can take it. It is a big Copper cooler and very low noise with a big fan - it bolts on to your board though so you would have to remove your tray etc...

4.77MHz to 4.0GHz in 10 years. Imagine the space year 2020 :)

Just bought a Vantec Aeroflow C7040 for my xp 2500+. With stock HSF I was running 47 - 48*C temps when idle. Now I am running just under 40*c. Great cooler for the price!

Stupid bug.......you go squish now!
