New i7 950 Build

Just wanna say thanks to everyone's input in advance!

Okay, My friend wants me to put together a Intel gaming rig together tonight and he really wants it tonight so.
He wants mainly Intel and Nvidia Graphics card and his budget is $1300 give or take.

CPU - intel i7 950
Motherboard - Asus Sabertooth x58
Case - Haf X

Graphics Card - EVGA GTX 470 (He doesn't need this, as I am giving him mine)

So mainly I need help picking out a good Modular Power supply for him that while give him breathing room for future upgrades like 470 SLI

Also, since his motherboard comes with 6Gb/s SATA port should I bother getting something like the Western Digital 1TB Black 6Gb/s HDD or just stick with Samsung F3 1TB?

What kind of fans should i throw on those.

And What kind of CD/DVD burner should I throw on that? I have bought couple in the past and they have all been really loud and annoying when it starts to kick up.

^ Nice parts, but you sure you want to spend that much on the case ?? You could save some money and maybe invest in a SSD,...

RAM - A very good deal on the RAM,...

HDD - SATA 6GB/s for a HDD wont matter, so save money and stick with the F3

CPU Cooler - Check out the Thermalright Silver Arrow,...
Or if you want to stick with the Megalems, then get from Amazon - its cheaper and free shipping

Hey! Thanks for the Reply, yea I have to stick with the i7 950 and Haf X case because those are two main he wants for the build otherwise i suggested him a i5 760 built. I will check those links you gave me out

yea i was looking at that but i dont see the board offering much spacing between the cards, if he runs SLI in the future.

yea im def. gonna purchase the F3 for that price

^ Well even the UD3R offers similar setup when going SLI as to take full advantage of the x16x16, you would have to populate the 1st and the 3rd slot,...
