Starting to think it's time to replace the old i7-4970K build with something a little more robust.
This is what I have etched out so far ...

Any thoughts on compatibility issues, or potential problems?
(Don't bother with money saving suggestions ... I don't have a problem with that particular medium)

Thanks,
Yogi.

SLI is a waste of money except for very few games that use it, just too many issues and not enough real support these days.

As far as ram goes DDR4 3200 is plenty fast enough.

The PSU, The Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 750W is plenty if you get rid of the 2nd GPU.

I'd go with something like this to make sure those dual 2080 ti's have plenty of ventilation:

Mount the 360mm radiator on the top. The strix are better cards and if money is of no object and your budget is 5k. Do yourself a favor and get a i9-9900k. Otherwise you'll be kicking yourself!

Totally agree about the SLI, but the twins aren't in there for that. I run a 144Hz 2 over 3 setup and need the ports. Ergo the PSU suggestion is moot.
A Dodge Charger is plenty fast with a V6 in it, but if you can, why wouldn't you buy the Hellcat package ???
Thanks for the info though. I'll keep it in mind for lighter builds.

I have to admit, I like that Cooler Master case. It was actually a toss up between the two. I already have an Enthoo Luxe case in an AMD build, so I went that way.
I was going for single core clock cycles and totally missed the 19-9900K. Thanks for pointing that out.
Why the ML360R at 66.7 CFM over the 115i at 97 CFM? Is the bigger radiator that much better?

I've heard the difference between the 360mm and 280mm are negligible as far as surface area is concerned. It was my choice from an aesthetic standpoint and keeping RGB technologies uniform.

Agreed ... it would look better for sure, and likely be quieter. Moving less air per minute over a larger area likely equates to the same cooling capacity.
