[SOLVED] New i7 not booting my laptop c

I had a i5 9600k I bought a i7 9700k to upgrade my cpu and I put the i7 in and it won’t boot up after leaving bios it will freeze when loading and I don’t know why any help would be appreciated I have a asus z390 e motherboard

Wrong model numbers? 9600k and 9700k are desktop cpus...
Try updating the bios? Link: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z390-E-GAMING/HelpDesk_BIOS/
If it was a mistake, take the cpu out, and check the motherboard socket for bent/broken pins.
