New Install of Windows 2000 Server txtsetup.oem

I'm trying to do a new install of Windows 2000 server (my old server died and
I purchased a new IBM x225 server) When I do the install I hit f6 to install
third party SCSI or RAID Controller. The setup then says "to specify
additional SCSI adapters.... press S" When I press S I get a message telling
me to insert the driver disk and hit enter. After I hit enter I get the
message that says: "the file txtsetup.oem could not be found" If I try the
install without setting up the new RAID Controller I get a message that says:
"setup did not find any hard drives installed in your computer"

My question is: How do I get around this?

Pressing F6 and then S is the right thing to do. Your problem seems to be
that setup doesn't find a driver on the diskette. Are you sure that what
you have on the diskette is the correct driver? Also, on some servers, the
controller BIOS and the driver on the diskette has to match, else it won't
work.

Best regards

I'm sure it's the correct driver. I also took the txtsetup (it's not .oem)
file right from the software disk. How do I get to the controller BIOS?

Hmm, it should be .oem, and of course you'll need the other files on the
floppy as well.

I'm afraid that I haven't worked with IBM servers, but usually the
controller BIOS version is displayed on the screen during boot. Often, the
key sequence for accessing controller BIOS is also displayed. Adaptec
controllers - for instance - needs ctrl+A.

Probably, IBM has a support web site with better instructions.
